The mum of a winner at Cheltenham Festival has been accused of 'ruining her son's moment' in a hilarious post-race interview.
We've all been embarrassed by our parents at one point or another in our lives, but this instance may just take the cake.
In a bizarre moment on Thursday (12 March), Tom Bellamy's mother was approached and interviewed by ITV after his emphatic victory.
The jockey rode the 40/1 shot White Noise to a shock victory in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle on the third day of the horse racing-based meeting, winning by multiple lengths.

TV presenter Matt Chapman managed to get a hold of Tom's mum, Sue, while she was trackside, in order to get a live reaction from her on the huge win.

Speaking on ITV Racing, he asked how Sue felt after the huge moment and she answered: "What dreams are made of, it's just amazing.
"A big price, great for the yard, the lads, lasses, everybody - and the mother who has to put up with him on the way home when things have gone badly."
It sounds pretty normal so far, but the mum would soon shift the topic focus, as the interviewer brought up an off-air conversation.
Chapman continued: "You were saying the result of this win might mean he gets what going forward."
Sue then answered: "Girlfriend, maybe. Anybody out there, he’s a nice lad."

The moment went viral on social media, with many viewers chipping in with their thoughts on her answer.
One user commented: "Sort of thing my Mum would do..."
Another called it the 'best mum interview ever', while a third claimed that she 'just ruined his moment'.
Someone else wrote: "He will be lined up with Oisin Murphy in the next Friday Night at the Races on ITV next."
However, Bellamy appears to have taken it in his stride as he shared a video which appeared to mimic a dating profile.

In the clip, which was shown during ITV's Cheltenham coverage today (13 March), he said: "My name's Tom Bellamy. Cheltenham Festival-winning jockey. My hobbies involve riding horses regularly.
"I play the odd game of golf, I enjoy watching sport, cricket mainly.
"I'm an all-round good guy and in the words of my mother, a nice lad, six foot, 31, what a catch.
"What's not to like?"
As for the race itself, Bellamy said that the shock win 'tops his whole career' as the jockey beat out the 1/1 favourite in Bambino Fever.

Speaking to ITV after his race, he admitted: "Honestly, I've waited my whole life for this day, I'm genuinely speechless.
"Great performance from a really likeable filly. This tops my whole career, not just my season.
"I'm nearly crying here, I've been bunking off school when I was a kid to come and watch Cheltenham, and I can't believe I'm walking off at the top here."
As White Noise came in first in the event, Place de la Nation and Oldschool Outlaw finished in second and third.
